Tips from tonic lovers

Original

  • One part tonic syrup
  • Six to eight parts well carbonated club soda
  • Gin (to your own taste)
  1. Add gin, tonic syrup and club soda.
  2. Add a lot of ice and a wedge of lime.
  3. Should the bitterness hit you in an unpleasent way, add sweetener after taste (e.g. agave syrup or raw sugar).
  4. Club soda made by soda streamer at home works perfectly fine in most cases, depending on your local water.

Cucumber Dreams

  • A quarter chilled cucumber.
  • 6-8 cl of concentrated elderflower cordial (or to taste).
  • 4-6 cl of gin.
  • 3 cl of Upsala Tonic syrup.
  • 2 dl of club soda.
  1. Blend the cucumber and strain to remove pulp.
  2. Add cucumber juice, elderflower cordial, gin and tonic syrup to a glass with ice.
  3. Fill upp with club soda, garnish with a cucumber slice and/or a citrus wedge. Serve.

Mogård's Bittersweet

  • 2 cl agave syrup.
  • 3 cl Upsala Tonic syrup.
  • 6 cl gin (recommended: Hendrick's).
  • Club soda.
  • Ice cubes.
  • Cucumber slices for decoration.
  1. Place the ice cubes in a tall, narrow, chilled glass.
  2. Add the gin, agave syrup and Upsala Tonic, stirring well.
  3. Add club soda, garnish with a cucumber slice and serve immediately.

Hartman's Ginger(g)in Tonic

  • 2 cl fresh pressed ginger
  • 3 cl Upsala Tonic
  • 6 cl gin (recommended: Hendrick's)
  • Club Soda
  • Ice cubes
  1. Place the ice cubes in a tall, narrow, chilled glass.
  2. Add the gin, pressed ginger and Upsala Tonic, stirring well.
  3. Add club soda and serve immediately.
